Crumbling Foundations

Crumbling foundation damage is a major problem in Connecticut. While some solutions exist for a crumbling foundation, they are often expensive, disruptive and not worth the cost depending on the home. We help develop the best strategy for our homeowner clients that are dealing with crumbling foundations.

Law Day

This is the last date you have to get your home back. You must pay what you owe (usually the amount of the debt plus court costs and attorney’s fees). If you don’t do this by the Law Day, the bank will own your home the next day.

Home Foreclosure Defense

Whether you are still paying or whether you have been served with foreclosure papers, we can help. Homeowners in foreclosure have many more options than they realize. The earlier they talk to a lawyer about foreclosure, the more options they have.

Foreclosure Mediation

The court offers a mediation program that is very useful in slowing down the case and fostering communication between the homeowner and the bank. Our Firm is experienced in slowing down the foreclosure process in order to allow the homeowner time to get organized, save money and find a new home. Connecticut has an excellent foreclosure mediation program that homeowners should participate in if served with foreclosure.  I also offer consultations to discuss your current loan modification options and to review your loan modification application to maximize the likelihood that you will receive a modification offer from your lender.

Credit Card Debt & Credit Counseling Service

Take control of your debt today. Do you have $10,000, $25,000, $50,000 or more in credit card, student loan or other debt?  Have you considered bankruptcy but either do not qualify or do not want to file bankruptcy?  Are you making your monthly minimum payments but can’t pay anymore?  Have you already missed payments and your phone is ringing off the hook with creditors or debt collectors calling for payment? We handle credit card and other consumer debt collection cases (small claims or superior court).

Consumer Protection – Justice for Consumers

I have helped reduce my clients’ debts by over $1.31 million. Very few consumers understand the process of being sued on a debt, they are overwhelmed and feel outnumbered. However, once a client hires me, I even the odds by making the other side follow the rules, and getting their cases dismissed when they fail to.

Student Loans

There are new programs out there that can help you get back on track with your student loan. Are you struggling with high monthly payments? Are you making late payments, or haven’t made a payment in months or years? Getting collection calls? Under a wage garnishment? Is the government intercepting your tax refund? Contact me and you’ll be surprised how easy it is to manage your loans and improve your credit.

Contact me to set up an appointment to discuss your options.  I know what you are going through and I have a plan that will help.
